Sunil Chhetri-led Bengaluru FC registered a 0-0 draw against April 25 SC in second leg at the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium here on Wednesday to book a berth in the inter-zonal final of the AFC Cup.
The Albert Roca-managed side held the North Koreans to a goalless draw, helping their side advance in the inter-zonal final with a 3-0 aggregate, from their first leg victory at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru FC goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was awarded the man of the match for his terrific performance to keep a clean sheet intact for the side.
Bengaluru will now face Dushanbe (Tajikistan) based club FC Istiklol in the AFC Cup inter-zone final.
Istiklol will host the first leg on September 27, before both sides play the second leg on October 18 in Bengaluru.
