BJP ahead of everyone in Jharkhand

BJP candidates led in 11 of the 19 seats in Jharkhand Monday as officials started counting votes polled in assembly elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has been widely tipped to emerge the winner in Jharkhand.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidates were ahead in four seats, the Congress in two and two smaller parties were in one seat each.

The Jharkhand assembly has 81 seats.
