BJP, Congress survive on black money: Sisodia

Both the BJP and the Congress survive because of black money or illegal foreign funding, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said Saturday.

Addressing a public meeting here, Sisodia said that the Delhi High Court judgement proved that both the major parties were receiving illegal donations from Vedanta Resources, a foreign mining company, which also has operations in Goa.

"Both the Congress and the BJP thrive only on black money or illegal foreign funding. The funding received from Vedanta Resources registered abroad proves that," said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader.

The Delhi High Court on Friday had asked the central government and the Election Commission to take appropriate action against the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party for allegedly accepting foreign funds in violation of norms.

"And they are accusing the AAP of illegal foreign funding," Sisodia said, giving his party a clean chit on the funding issue.
