Social activist Anna Hazare on Tuesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of not fulfilling the promises made ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
"Three years ago, the BJP leadership sold pipe dreams to the public, promising return of the black money stashed abroad within 30 days of coming to power and Rs 15 lakh in the bank accounts of every citizen. What to talk of Rs 15 lakh, people did not get even Rs 15," he told the media here.
"That is the reason I have decided to relaunch my agitation from March 23 in Delhi. I appeal to the public to get associated with my movement, in which the demands for Lokpal and protection of the farmers' interests will be raised," Hazare added.
