BJP trusted to provide stability, growth: Rajnath

BJP president Rajnath Singh Tuesday said his party enjoyed overwhelming support amongst people as they believed that it alone could provide a stable government and take the country on the growth trajectory.

People are not only to determined to vote for the BJP but also want to contribute to in its endeavour to stage a comeback following Lok Sabha elections, he said while launching website Modi4PMFund - an attempt to reach 10 crore homes across India to seek their support and contribution for Modi's campaign to lead the nation - at the party headquarters.

There was a huge support for the party as people feel that BJP alone had the credentials to form a stable government that would deliver on its promises, he said.

Rajnath Singh noted that the BJP believes in political funding through participative process involving its cadre throughout the country by way of small contributions.

The BJP would seek donations through an integrated approach involving online and traditional direct contributions by its supporters. The online contribution could be made through the website www.donate.bjp.org. by credit and debit cards for which donor would get immediate receipt of transaction.

BJP's national treasurer Piyush Goyal said that the BJP was the first political party in the country to accept political donations online starting since July 2010.
