The Congress on Thursday said the BJP just wanted to "keep the pot boiling" on AgustaWestland chopper deal to deflect public attention from the central government's inaction.
"You (Bharatiya Janata Party) just want to keep the pot boiling to divert public attention," Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told the media here.
"Repeating it (the issue) will not make it serious in nature," Singhvi added.
He said the Milan court in Italy just made a reference to the names of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and others.
The matter should have been investigated by now, he said, adding that the charge that Congress leaders received kickbacks in the deal was untrue.
Earlier, dismissing the bribery charge in the VVIP chopper deal, Congress leader Sachin Pilot told the media in Kolkata that the BJP-led central government was using the issue to divert public attention from its failures in the last two years.
