A.C. Milan coach Vincenzo Montella on Friday decided that Colombian striker Carlos Bacca will not participate in the team's US tour.
The club reported that Bacca, who played in the Copa America with Colombia until June 26, as well as Mattia De Sciglio, will begin pre-season preparations at the sports city but noted that the decision to leave them out of the squad for the tour is not linked to the transfer market, reports Efe.
Bacca, who some media reported as the target of other clubs such as Atletico Madrid and West Ham, was included in the squad for the US tour only two days ago, before it was changed on Friday.
The rest of the Milan squad -- lacking Bacca, De Sciglio, Gianluca Lapadula and Leonel Vangioni -- will travel to Chicago on Friday to play three friendlies against Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
