Tyre manufacturing company Ceat has come on board for Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) competition as title sponsor, it was announced on Tuesday.
The tournament consisting 24 Indian and 24 International paddlers will start from July 13 and the semi-finals and final will be held here from July 26.
Each club in the meet will have eight players -- four men and four women with an equal mix of overseas and Indian players, apart from a foreign and an Indian coach.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director of CEAT Limited Anant Goenka said: "Table Tennis is a very dynamic sport and we are very happy to come on board as the title sponsor for Ultimate Table Tennis, which has the potential to revolutionise the sport in India,"
