The first edition of the Chandigarh literature festival 'Literati 2013' will held here Nov 23-24, organisers said here Tuesday.
Leading authors of various genres will participate in the two-day Lit Fest, which is being organised near Chandigarh's Sukhna Lake.
The event will see authors like Bhaskar Ghose, Irshad Kamil, Upamanyu Chatterjee, Kishwar Desai, Madhu Kishwar, Navtej Sarna, Ashok Vajpeyi, Gul Panag, Meghna Pant, Gobind Misra, Nandita C. Puri, Pushpesh Pant and Rahul Pandita, Chandigarh Literary Society chairperson Sumita Misra said here Tuesday.
"The lawns of the Lake Club will be transformed to a literary village with bookstalls, paintings, photographs and handicrafts display, artists at work, coffee corners, and food stalls," Chandigarh Literary Society's founder-member and author Vivek Atray said.
