Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday condoled the death of nine persons in a blast at SAIL's Bhilai Steel Plant.
"I have been saddened by the accident that occurred at the steel plant. I pay my respect to those who died. I pray to God to give courage to the bereaved families and for the speedy recovery of those injured," he tweeted.
The Bhilai plant, located 30 km west of state capital Raipur in Durg district, is India's sole producer and supplier of rails for Indian Railways.
