China is actively promoting its third generation nuclear technology in nearly 20 countries, a media report said.
"Hualong One" third generation nuclear power technology was jointly developed by nuclear power giants - China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN).
People's Daily said that Hualong One technology is a world-level domestically-developed third generation reactor design.
At present, CGN is actively promoting nuclear cooperation with nearly 20 countries, including Britain, Argentina, Egypt and Brazil, as also in Europe, Latin America, Africa and South Asia.
The first unit of Hualong One nuclear power reactor has a design life of 60 years.
