The Chinese swimming team, which had been trained in Sao Paulo, arrived at the Rio de Janeiro International Airport.
Fans were waiting at the Airport on Sunday to welcome the team, which is spearheaded by reigning men's 400m and 1,500m freestyle Olympic champion Sun Yang and world 100m freestyle champion Ning Zetao.
"The finals of the swimming events will be held at night in Rio, so I will have more evening training in Rio," said Ning. "There's no pressure and I feel good."
The team started their training very soon at the Olympic Aquatic Stadium, reports Xinhua.
"I am quite relaxed," said Ning. "It's Sunday today."
The team had trained for three weeks in Sao Paulo before heading off to Rio.
