Coldplay frontman Chris Martin says he used to be terrible at flirting with and dating women, but he used to find some respite in writing songs to attract female attention.
"I've never been good with girls. I'm not naturally handsome like Jude Law, that's why I had to learn to write songs. Just so I could get girls to even fax me. Even then they were fax rejections," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Martin as saying.
The 36-year-old is now married to 40-year-old actress Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has two children, daughter Apple, nine, and son Moses, seven.
