Actor Sam Claflin, known for "The Hunger Games" franchise and "Me Before You", says becoming a father has made him a better actor.
Claflin started dating actress Laura Haddock in 2011. They got married in 2013, and welcomed their first child in 2015.
In an interview to NW magazine about his role in the upcoming period drama "My Cousin Rachel", the 30-year-old shared how his perspective towards the craft changed after becoming a father, reports dailymail.co.uk.
He said: "Now that I'm a father, I feel like I've got an emotional depth greater than, say, two years ago."
Claflin also said that he has become more mature since welcoming his son into the world.
"What's great about where I am now is that I'm starting to get scripts for older men. I'm ready to explore that," he said.
