Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, inviting investors to his state, said on Saturday that a conducive environment for investment is awaiting industrialists and his government was ready to roll the red carpet for them.

Speaking in 'Make in India' programme in Mumbai, he said: "Come invest in Jharkhand. Jharkhand is a mineral rich state. We welcome you with a conducive environment. Invest in Jharkhand and this will give a new direction to the development process."

At the event, Das welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a bouquet of flowers and a shawl. Later Modi also visited the Jharkhand Pavilion and lauded the developmental works being done by the state government.
