Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Thursday indirectly acknowledged the tussle between the party's old guard and the younger leaders, saying there were "multiple voices" and the party will deal with it.
Asked by the media about dissenting voices within the party, the 44-year-old Lok Sabha member from Amethi said: "The Congress party is a very old party and one which has done great service to this nation.
"There are multiple voices in the Congress party... There are always these types of tension. We will deal with these types of tension."
Gandhi is in his constituency on a two-day visit.
