The Constitution and not aggression will guide the country, BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi said when asked about his party's approach on issues like the Ram temple and Article 370.

"The country doesn't work with aggression, the nation works as per the Constitution," Modi said, responding to a question on the Bharatiya Janata Party's approach to the issues of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, and Article 370, which provides special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

"The country moves forward with constitutional dignity. Aggression is meant for polls, not to run the government," he said.
