The Czech Athletics Association named a 24-member team for the World Championships to be held in Beijing from August 22 to 30.
The list includes nine women and 15 men, reports Xinhua.
Men: Pavel Maslak (400m), Jakub Holusa (1,500m), Petr Svoboda (110m hurdles), Jaroslav Baba (high jump), Jan Kudlicka, Michal Balner (pole vault), Radek Juska (long jump), Tomas Stanek, Jan Marcell (shot put), Lukas Melich (hammer throw), Jakub Vadlejch, Petr Frydrych, Vitezslav Vesely (javelin), Adam Sebastian Helcelet (decathlon), Lukas Gdula (50 km walk).
Women: Zuzana Hejnova, Denisa Rosolova (400m hurdles), Lucie Sekanova (3,000m hurdles), Jirina Ptacnikova (pole vault), Tereza Kralova (hammer throw), Barbora Spotakova (javelin), Anezka Drahotova, Lucie Pelantova (20 km walk), Eliska Klucinova (heptathlon).
