Filmmaker David O. Russell has pulled out of new TV drama that he was going to produce.
The 55-year-old has decided to leave the show, set in a private country club, a month after it was commissioned, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
The project, with a new working title "The Club", is moving forward with a story co-written by Susannah Grant. She will also produce it alongside Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman.
The makers are busy finalising the cast and "Machete Kills" actress Callie Hernandez is among the first to join the series as Ana.
