Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea has received Manchester United's footballer of the month award for March.
De Gea, 25, was on Friday voted as the Red Devils' player of the month through a poll conducted on his Twitter account and his official website, as he racked up 72 percent of the total votes, ahead of French forward Anthony Martial and English defender Chris Smalling, reports Efe.
This is the first time the Spaniard has claimed this award, despite being voted by fans as player of the year.
De Gea has played 38 games with United this season in all competitions, in which he kept 15 clean sheets.
