US President Donald Trump will make remarks on Wednesday on whether to move the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders said on Tuesday.
Earlier on the day, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received a telephone call from Trump, who informed Abbas of his intention to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Xinhua news agency reported.
Abbas warned of the dangers of such a decision on the peace process, security and stability in the region and the world, Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rdineh was quoted as saying.
He added that Abbas will continue his contacts with world leaders to prevent such an unacceptable action.
