Declare Rajasthan Cricket Association results: SC
The Supreme Court Wednesday directed that the results of the Rajasthan Cricket Association elections held in December 2013 be declared May 6.
The elections had become contentious because former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi was in the fray for the presidentship.
An apex court bench headed by Justice Anil. R. Dave directed the registry to send the results in a sealed cover to Justice (retd) N.M. Kasliwal, the observer for the elections, so that these could be released.
The court also said that anyone aggrieved at the outcome of the elections could challenge this before the appropriate authority.
