Argentine tennis star Juan Martin del Potro posted messages and shared photographs on social network sites of the progress made on his injured left wrist.
"A tennis practice shared with friends and good vibes is always better," the Olympic medallist wrote on Twitter and Facebook on Thursday, reported Xinhua.
Alongside the message, 27-year-old del Potro uploaded five photos of himself during training with his friends and signing autographs for fans that gathered during his practice session.
The bronze medallist at the London Olympics 2012 has been training since September in the US city of Miami, Florida, where he will continue to strengthen his left wrist after having three operations in 18 months.
Del Potro started as an professional tennis player in 2005 and in 2008 he became the first player in history of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) to win four consecutive tournaments as a newcomer.
In 2009, he won the US Open and became the world number four in the 2010 ranking. However, this was the year when he suffered the first injury to his wrist.
In 2012, he became the first Argentinian to win an Olympic medal in men's singles. He won the bronze in London after defeating Serbian Novak Djokovic.
However, continual injuries have prevented him from competing in the last two years.
