Model-actress Cara Delevingne says it's "wonderful" that the world is becoming more accepting of same-sex marriages.
The 22-year-old star, who is currently dating female musician St. Vincent, says she has always been "open" about being bisexual and that she is delighted attitudes are starting to change.
"I've been pretty open about myself from the beginning. I think it's wonderful that you know, it's being accepted more and more. And I think everyone has a right to be whoever they want to be. So I'm just very happy," Delevingne told dailymail.co.uk.
She also sent a specific message to Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, calling on him to follow the example of other major nations and legalise same-sex marriage.
"Tony Abbott, you better listen to the rest of the world and carry on. Go with it," she said.
This comes shortly after Delevingne, who is set to star alongside Will Smith and Margot Robbie in "Suicide Squad", blasted superhero movies as "totally sexist".
She said: "There are only three girls in ('Suicide Squad'), but in my opinion they have the best roles. Generally though, superhero movies are totally sexist.
"Female superheroes are normally naked or in bikinis. No-one would be able to fight like that. Wonder Woman, how the hell does she fight? She would be dead in a minute."
