Hockey India League (HIL) team Delhi Waveriders Thursday launched a mobile application to reach out to their fans.
The app will be available on iPhone and android based smartphones and tablets and can be downloaded for free from iTunes and Google Play Store.
The app will help fans to get updated information on team players, latest match news, scores, standings, schedules, trades, roster moves and stats. The app also has an open fan wall for users to post messages and discuss about the team and matches.
The app will be linked with social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
"This is our endeavour to ensure that the fans can stay connected with the Delhi Waveriders 24x7 and transform game-viewing into an interactive sports experience. This app is a first by any HIL team," Delhi Waveriders chief executive Amar Sinha said.
