Spanish football club Malaga said Argentinian Martin Demichelis is the new player for the remainder of the La Liga season.
The Argentine played for Malaga in January 2011 and then signed with Atletico Madrid and Manchester City, before arriving this year in Espanyol, reports Efe.
Demichelis scored nine goals in the 103 matches he played with Malaga in two and a half seasons, in La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
The 36-year-old played for Espanyol this year but rescinded his contract after only two games with the Catalonian club.
