World No.1 Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified on Friday to the fourth round of the Australian Open tennis tournament after beating Italian Andreas Seppi 6-1, 7- 5, 7-6 (6).
Djokovic, the defending champion and top seed, defeated his opponent, No.29, in two hours and 21 minutes.
The Serbian player won his 12th game against Seppi, after achieving victory over the Italian player in all previous 11 matches.
The title holder will meet French Gilles Simon, the No.15, who defeated Argentine Federico Delbonis 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 in an hour and 42 minutes.
Djokovic seeks to win his sixth Australian Open title after he won the championships of 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.
