About a dozen drunk goons fired indiscriminately inside a restaurant in Delhi following a dispute over serving them food, in which four people -- a 12-year-old girl, her maternal and paternal grandfathers and a restaurant employee -- suffered bullet injuries, police said on Tuesday.

The incident took place around 11 p.m. on Monday in Krishna Nagar area of east Delhi.

Police said one of the goons misbehaved with restaurant employees over serving them food.

"When the restaurant employees refused to serve him food, he called his associates sitting inside a property dealer's office nearby," a police official said.

"All the accused were drunk and they started firing indiscriminately after reaching the restaurant," said the official.

A 30-year-old restaurant employee, Sunil Kumar, received a bullet injury in the incident.

In the meantime, a 12-year-old girl Suman Singh reached the restaurant and was also injured in the firing. She received a bullet injury in her stomach.

The girl's two grandparents -- Gopal Singh, 65, and Jatan Singh, 70 -- were also shot at by the goons when they along with some residents tried to catch the culprits.

"All the victims are being treated at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, and their condition is stated to be critical," said the official.

"The goons fled the spot after the incident. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the culprits and a hunt is on to nab them," the official said.
