Grammy winning frontman of band Maroon 5, Adam Levine has revealed that TV host Ellen DeGeneres was the one who named his child.
In an episode of the chat show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", Levine was asked by DeGeneres about how he thought of his daughter's name Dusty Rose, read a statement.
"So, we had a name that we won't mention on television. We have a name; the name game is a tough game. It's a very hard, arduous, it's like the, it's imagining you're writing the best song you've ever written in your life and you had to name it," Levine said.
"So, I'm going through it, and I think I have a great name and I texted Ellen, and I was like, what do you think? And she's like, I hate it. I think it's a terrible name. And I was like, cool. So, what the, yeah okay, all right, we gonna. And she's like, okay what? She gave me like five names to think about. She's like this, this, this, this.
"Dusty was in there. So, you basically named my kid. Cuz I ran it by my wife and she's like, nah, don't like it. And I'm like, okay, cool, and I brought it back to her in the eleventh hour, and I'm like Dusty's pretty cool, and she's like, I love it," he added.
The episode was aired on Romedy NOW channel on Friday night.
