Envoys of five nations call on president

Envoys of five nations Tuesday met President Pranab Mukherjee here and formally intimated him that they have taken charge, Rashtrapati Bhavan said.

"Envoys of Djibouti, Latvia, Vietnam, Georgia and Jamaica presented their credentials to Mukherjee at a ceremony held in Rashtrapati Bhavan today (Tuesday)," said a statement.

The envoys who presented their credentials were Sai Absieh Warsama, ambassador of Djibouti; Aivars Groza, ambassador of Latvia; Ton Sinh Thanh, ambassador of Vietnam; Levan Nizharadze, ambassador of Georgia; and Clement Philip Ricardo Allicock, ambassador of Jamaica.
