Actress Eva Longoria reportedly wants to launch her own fitness empire and create her own series of diet and fitness DVDs.
According to a source, the 40-year-old, who is currently focusing on producing other shows and owns her own Mexican restaurant, is eager to create her own diet and fitness DVDs targeted at Hispanic women, reports okmagazine.com.
"Eva noticed that there's a major lack of health resources for Latinas. So she wants to work with chefs at her restaurant, Beso, to produce video segments about diet and nutrition in addition to her own Jane Fonda-style exercise DVDs," the source said.
Longoria is rumoured to be in talks with a number of companies to help her move into the realm of fitness.
The source added: "Netflix is already looking at backing her. Eva sees it as a real moneymaker."
