Exhibition showcases artist's journey from terracotta to ceramics

Crafting his story narrating the change in the medium of his art, artist Bhuvnesh Prasad presented his exhibition titled "Terracotta to Ceramics" at the Lalit Kala Akademi here.

This showcase of terracotta work, curated by Uma Nair, is all about the hard work done by Bhuvnesh Prasad, where his perseverance and determination for ceramic work can be seen.

"My work is a natural play between clay body, glazing and firing. In some of my works I have used the white glaze - and in some others that are terracotta shades, I have used the transparent glaze as I create colour by using the technique of the reduction glaze - so in my process of creation there are no oxides and no colour," Prasad said in a statement.
