FCI reviews key reports to streamline operations

To improve foodgrain management in the country, public sector enterprise Food Corporation of India (FCI) Monday said that a high-level committee has reviewed all the earlier key reports for streamlining the operation of the behemoth.

According to the PSE, the day-long sessions focused on presentations made on four studies conducted in the past regarding food policy and improving the functioning of the FCI.

The Committee discussed the creation of modern storage facilities and bulk handling of foodgrain.
