A First Information Report (FIR) against the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for attacking Karachi's international airport was registered Wednesday, media reported.
The FIR was registered at Karachi's airport police station under the anti-terrorism act, naming the top brass of the outfit, including its spokesman Shahidullah Shahid, Dawn online reported.
Following the attack, security was beefed up at the airports throughout the country.
The five-hour-long attack by militants on the airport left 28 people, including 10 attackers, dead. TTP claimed responsibility for the attack.
