Five killed in Nigeria blast

At least five people were killed on Tuesday in a bomb attack in Damaturu city, capital of Nigeria's Yobe state, an official said.

"About 25 others were injured in the attack carried out by a female suicide bomber," Xinhua quoted Abdullahi Bego, a spokesman of the Yobe state government as saying.

Security personnel have cordoned off the area, he added.
