Flamengo have signed attacking midfielder Lucas Mugni from Argentine top-flight club Colon.
The 22-year-old former Argentina youth international Thursday joined the Rio de Janeiro side on a three-year deal worth $1.25 million, reports Xinhua.
"The deal has been confirmed and includes a 10 percent cut of his future sale," Colon spokesman Sergio Villanueva told Radio Sol.
Mugni is Flamengo's seventh signing of the pre-season as the club reinforces its squad for the Copa Libertadores, South America's top club competition.
The playmaker made 69 first-team appearances for Colon and scored four goals following his 2010 debut.
He has represented Argentina at under-17 and under-20 levels.
