All flights to Jammu airport were suspended on Friday due to a "technical fault" on the runway, leaving scores of passengers stranded. An official said the operations will resume soon.
"All flight operations to and from Jammu airport were suspended in the morning today (Friday) due to a technical fault on the runway. Flight operations will be resumed shortly," an airport official said.
A survey conducted by the Indian Air Force had pointed out at some technical faults in the runway of the Jammu airport and recommended immediate corrections.
