Fluminense earned a place in Brazil's Campeonato Carioca final by trouncing Vasco da Gama 3-0 at the Maracana stadium here.
Richarlison opened the scoring with a header just after halftime on Saturday and Wellington Silva made it 2-0 five minutes later with a close-range shot that went between goalkeeper Martin Silva's legs, reports Xinhua news agency.
Leo put the semifinal result beyond doubt by nodding in a Sornoza set piece in the 71st minute.
Fluminense will play the winner of the other semifinal between Botafogo and Flamengo in the championship decider on April 30.
Flamengo are the most successful team in the history of the competition with 33 titles, followed by Fluminense (31) and Vasco da Gama (24).
