Four Afghan policemen killed

At least four Afghan policemen were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in the country's Farah province on Monday, an official said.

The incident occurred in Lash-wa-Juwayn district where the unit was on routine patrol. The unit vehicle touched off the IED planted by militants along a road bordering Iran, the official told Xinhua news agency.
