Four persons died after falling into a water harvesting tank here on Saturday, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh said that police got a call around 10.45 a.m. on Saturday that five persons had fallen into a water harvesting tank in a building in Ghitorni area of south Delhi.
The officer said that they were moved to different city hospitals where four were pronounced dead. A fifth person, however, survived.
The police officer identified the deceased as Swarn Singh, 45, Deepu, 28, Anil, 23, Balwinder, 32 -- all residents of Ambedkar Colony in the Mehrauli area.
