French stock market drops 2.81 percent on Friday

The French stock market's benchmark CAC 40 index dropped by 130.71 points or 2.81 percent to close at 4,523.08 points on Friday.

All the 40 companies on the index ended in the red. Among them, Kering plummeted 6.16 percent, ArcelorMittal 5.84 percent and Lafargeholcim 5.37 percent.

The CAC 40 rebounded by 2.17 percent on Thursday to close at 4,653.79 points, up 98.87 points.
