Gambhir fined for showing dissent

Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir Monday was fined 15 percent of his match fees for showing dissent against the umpire during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Sunrisers Hyderabad here Sunday.

Gambhir admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.3) and accepted the sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
