Child artiste Gauransh Sharma will play the role of Govind aka Laddu in "Jiji Maa". His look will be inspired by actor Govinda's style across Bollywood films.
"I love Laddu's look and character and I am very excited to play the role. Laddu is a very colourful character and I love my look in the show," Gauransh said in a statement.
Actor Dishank Arora, who plays Suyash in the show, said: "We all were so hopeful for the show to not go off air and here we are with the second innings of the show."
"With a leap of seven years, the audience will witness a lot of new drama and changes in characterisations. Even we are looking forward to it and extremely excited about the leap," he added.
Actor Randheer Rai is also one of the new entries. He will play the negative lead role in the show.
