A 32-year-old transporter of Ghaziabad went missing on Tuesday night. His family suspects he has been kidnapped, according to police.

Vivek Tyagi, 32, director of Vivek Transport Company, last called his wife Anjali at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, asking her to prepare dinner. But he did not reach home, police said.

At 1.30 a.m. on Wednesday, a police patrol team found the car abandoned outside a hotel in Rajnagar. A driving licence and an arms licence were found in the car.

A police official said they contacted his family members at the address mentioned on the licence. No ransom call has been received by the family, they added.
