An owner of a car registered in neighbouring Karnataka learnt that not he but the Goa Police was the 'boss' in the coastal state when he was challaned for sporting the word 'BOSS' on the registration number plate of the vehicle.
Director General of Police Dr Muktesh Chander tweeted after the Traffic Department fined the owner.
Posting a picture of the challaned offender, Chander tweeted late Saturday: "Spotted a car in Goa belonging to some self-proclaimed 'boss' from Karnataka. He was challaned for defective number plate. Hope he understands who is the boss around. Traffic rules are to be obeyed by bosses also."
