Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's next "Golmaal 4" is not a remake of the Tamil hit "Soodhu Kavvum", says the official publicist of the film.
There were reports that the fourth instalment of the hit film franchise "Golmaal" is inspired by the 2013 Tamil hit film "Soodhu Kavvum". The official publicist of the film on Thursday shunned all such claims.
The statement read: "We would like to state that the news is completely untrue and baseless."
Actor Ajay Devgn will feature in the film. Apart from that everything about the film, from its storyline to the cast is being kept under wraps.
Shetty hit the jackpot with "Golmaal: Fun Unlimited" in 2006, and has been repeating the success formula with the film franchise. The other instalments were - "Golmaal Returns" and "Golmaal 3".
