Haryana's Public Works, Forest and Civil Aviation Minister Rao Narbir Singh said on Sunday that the road from Hero Honda Chowk on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway to Dwarka Expressway will be six-lane.
Tender for this will be floated by August and it will be constructed by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
He said the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was requested to make six-lane road from Hero Honda Chowk to Dwarka Expressway but refused to work on the proposal. After this the work was assigned to GMDA.
Rao Narbir Singh came here to start the carpeting work of the road in Gurgram Sector 10.
About Rs 80 lakh will be spent on carpeting this road connecting Farrukhnagar Road from Pataudi Road to Sector 10.
