Leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp on Tuesday said it sold 5,50,992 vehicles in February 2016, registering a growth of 13.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
The company sold 4,84,769 two-wheelers in February 2015, Heo MotoCorp said in a statement.
"These numbers have been possible in spite of the production at Hero's manufacturing facilities at Gurgaon and Dharuhera in Haryana and at Neemrana in Rajasthan being impacted for a few days due to the local agitations in the region during the month," said the company in the statement.
Hero MotoCorp added the company made up for the lost days when vehicle despatches were affected due to national highway blockades.
