Two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp Wednesday reported a growth of eight percent in sales for June at 541,594 units from 502,279 units sold in the corresponding period of 2013.
According to the company, sales in the quarter ended June 30 2014-15, grew by 10 percent at 1,715,129 units from 1,559,282 units sold in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company had sold 571,054 units and 602,481 units of two-wheelers respectively in the months of April and May this year.
The company added that in last month it commenced production at its fourth manufacturing plant at Neemrana in Rajasthan.
"With the commissioning of the plant, which has an installed capacity of 750,000 units, Hero MotoCorp now has a total annual installed capacity of 7.65 million units of two-wheelers," the company said in a statement.
