Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Tuesday mourned the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.
In a condolence message, Devvrat described Jayalalithaa a charismatic leader who worked relentlessly for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden.
Virbhadra Singh said she was an iconic and charismatic personality, who was loved and respected by millions of people across the country. He said Jayalalithaa was a popular leader and an able administrator, who successfully led Tamil Nadu to new heights of progress and prosperity.
All cabinet ministers and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries also condoled her demise.
